A lady needed her plumbing re-installed after having granite countertops installed in her home. She needed her pipes put back in as well as her garbage disposal. It was not clear why the original installer of the countertops could not re-install the plumbing.
Unfortunately, there are some unscrupulous contractors out there who will charge for a job and then disappear before it is fully completed. If you’re having any sort of remodeling done to your home, ask around before you settle on a contractor. Talk to friends, family neighbors, and co-workers to see if they have any recommendations. Check the Better Business Bureau to see if that contractor is listed, and whether or not the company has done a good job of addressing complaints.
A little legwork and research before your renovation can save you a great deal of headaches afterward.
