Leak detection technology identifies the exact location of the problem
If you have a leak in your kitchen sink, you may be looking at a great deal more than a damp cabinet. When water is allowed to accumulate for a long period of time, it can lead to substantial structural damage.
You will need to identify the source of the leak if possible. Put an empty bucket below the sink in the area where you think the leak has originated. Plug the drain and turn on the faucet to where there is about an inch of water in the sink. Look underneath to see if any water is escaping, and then pull the plug. Keep looking at the pipes. If you still can’t see a leak, dab the pipes with a dry paper towel or a cloth towel.
We use sophisticated leak detection equipment that can find the exact source of a problem so that it can be fixed as soon as possible. We can send a video camera through your plumbing that will send a high-resolution image to a monitor. Once the plumber identifies the location of the issue, he’ll know exactly what he needs to do.
